Uri: Glad you liked the film, but I wouldn't say it was my best work. Bring It On secures that honour, even though I had a stunt double to do most of the cheerleading bits. Katherine: There must be an entire generation that learned history and geography from Carmen Sandiego. That elusive minx. "Charge like Spartans" is hilarious. "No, not like that. Like Spartans, you fools!"

I learnt most of what I cared to remember about history from Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego! I loved that game so much as a kid! Much more exciting than a print-out timeline of the Abyssinian wars or whatever it was we did in high school history.
Though I do recall some lessons in the quadrangle where we were handed chairs and told to charge at each other like Spartans. That, making a diorama of a Spartan home with real tabouli and hommous, and an 8000 word essay on why Marilyn Monroe was murdered, sans suicide, were the highlights.
