Oh, how I love to be a thread necromancer.

Anyway; I should just mention, a couple of weeks ago a bus driver in Sweden suddenly accelerated into a large crowd and injured five people (I think a couple was quite bad). Investigators concluded she had mistakenly hit the accelerator when attempting to break for a stop - and then, realizing she was closing fast and wasn't slowing, instinctively slammed the breaks (which still actually was the accelerator) as hard as she could. She was in shock afterwords, and still is for all the media's heard.

I'm guessing that's what happened. Realizing what he'd done, the driver panicked and just left. I find that more likely than someone recognizing an old enemy or something.

64 Thousand Dollar Question: 'Ella Morton - Extrovert or Introvert? What's the exact ratio?' The warm interviewing skills, the vox-pops, the love of musicals -- all suggest she's wholly extrovert. Then again, the book-wormism, the interest in psychology and diary-keeping -- is archetype introvert. As a member of the Dharma Initiaive, I'd like to administer a thousand-question-strong Voigt-Kampff test. No one has such a strong, zeitgeisty personality without some kind of dark secret. In terms of hyping New York, though -- I've started dreaming of the place, concluded that if I could fly like Superman (or run across the ocean like The Flash, or materialise like Dr Manhattan), it's the first place I'd visit. At the moment, I'll continue to like vicariously through E M.

The X-Files and Stephen Colbert, we have some awesome mutual obsessions lol. I can't wait to go to the report in March. Me and my Wriststrong bracelet that is. And I totally would have gone into the city for The Age of Stupid, but sadly, I couldn't. I still obsessed from a father distance though lol.

Yah! Congrats on your year in NY! :)

This was an encouraging post too, especially for me who's planning to go back to fulltime study later this year after having been in retail hell for the last four years. I've decided to Just Do It and not allow myself to get stuck doing what I don't like. It's scary but exciting.

Oh, and you weren't born a redhead? :O

Oh, and one more thing. Chicago is not that scary or filled w/ dangerous drivers. I'm sorry for that odd but sour experience. Chicago is wonderful. Next time you're here, you should check out the second stage of Second City. Sometimes those shows are even better than the main stage.

Ella, you have accomplished so much in this past year. You are truly blessed.

You said, "Lesson: do what you want to do. Make the stuff you want to make. Some people will like it, some won’t. But you’ll feel mega accomplished and energised for another project. Then another. And then, the world!" It's really sticking to me. I understand your caution and nervousness of writing your own series. Not to be self promoting, but that's how I felt this last week as I wrote a script for the first time for a role that included more than myself. Normally, my vlogs are roughly scripted, but this time around, I was applying to be a Ford Fiesta agent. It was unnerving writing for my friend Karen. My greatest worry was putting words in her mouth that wasn't true. My second worry was that no one would find my jokes funny. Needless to say, today was the big day and it has been so far well received.

You're right Ella, we all need to risk and gamble a bit. But most importantly, we need to do what we want and make stuff what we want to make. If it's something we're passionate about, it will end out well in the end.

Thank you Ella. And congrats on a year in the States.
